Hello! We are Brad and Amina (too often known as BRAMINA) - a power-thrifting couple living in a hippie dippie town just outside of DC. We have a mixed breed dog, are offended by pitt bull discrimination and work super alternative jobs. We. Are. Cool.

Our RUBBLE shop came into existence after our relationship-long addiction of perusing thrift stores reached a point of panic. We love old things, we love good deals and we love conversation pieces! Thrift stores and old relatives’ basements are our sanctuary.

Amina (I) had already been on Etsy for a while with her main shop Handmade Habitat and had been bugging Brad for a while to start a vintage shop together. After a while, he broke down. (Yes, I won!)

The vintage things we like to collect are small. They penetrate the corners of our apartment and most of our kitchen cabinets. We don’t believe in buying new coffee mugs. Vintage ones are SOO much better! We have so many mugs, cups and saucers that we are prepared to have 50+ people over for an eclectic tea party at any given moment - and yes, you’re invited!

The products you see in RUBBLE will all reflect this. They’re small, unique and something that caught one of our eyes among masses of junk. We hope you see what we see and love these pieces too.
